Instruction on Overriding Registration Errors

For faculty to take care of a closed course, you ned to post overrides allowing the student to register for 491, 493, 591, 593, 597 and 599.  Just enter cap along with your other overrides.

Another common problem occurs when students use LoboWeb Student Add/Drop to register.  If they try to select a closed course from the class search list of courses it won’t work.  If they enter the CRN on the add classes worksheet it will work.

PS: It takes 2 to 4 days for a class cap to be posted by the scheduling office after the request is submitted. Class caps via scheduling do not align with your intended student.  Any student (with instructor permission on a restricted course) can take the seats that open up.
